Dr. Liza Ayuso, MD

Dr. Ayuso is absolutely the best Dr. in the world. She is sweet and know what she is doing. My kids love her! Sometimes I get frustrated because of the wait times at Pediatrics Associates but she is worth every extra second I have to wait.!

I recommend Dr. Ayuso, is very good, also speaks Spanish,. no long wait in the office, I recommend her to all mothers like me, who want a good pediatrician to care for their children.

I would question her judgement and I think you truly need to be careful not because she has wrong intentions but because she tents to be immoderate excessive in her diagnosis. She might order things for your kids that made not be necessary but harmful in the long run. For my child on one occasion she put him on antibiotics when it was not necessary and the reason I know this is because on my follow up the other doctor told me to get my kid off the antibiotics. On another occasion, she had him get a test for spinal tap which was very painful. When I get to the ER after she had me send my kid there, the doctor at the ER said, "I don't think this test is necessary" After this painful procedure, the test show my kid had nothing wrong. Now that I am a nurse, I look back with regrets. I just thing she can be an extremism in her profession. This field is not easy and she probably has good intentions. I would just ask more questions, like is this truly necessary, what exactly is this for… and so for.

As a first time mom I just could say that she fulfill my expectations, she is so patient even when I ask silly question because as a first time mom every little detail is important to ask, so she answer and help me a lot, she is so sweet my baby is so quiet when she examines him, he doesnt cry, she likes children, I love Dr. Ayuso and I recommend her 100% besides she is very accurate with kids diagnostic, she spend time when she sees babies not like others that just type on a computer. She is fantastic.

She is bilingual, she speaks both Spanish and English and is very caring. She takes the time to listen and you don't feel rushed. She works well with children.
