Dr. Lloyd Benjamin, MD

He opened the shower curtain on me twice when I was at Heritage Oaks. He also came in my room while I was sleeping to discuss my case. My roommate was there and I asked if we could go to the office for patient confidentiality and he said "no need." When he left my roommate says, "What an asshole." I had just had a baby less than 2 weeks before. He came to me and said "You have bipolar. You will never breastfeed and you will never have more children." I fought meds after that. I did not know what bipolar was and had just been told I was in postpartum psychosis. I got better but this man traumatized and made me fight getting help. In the end I did have another baby and was able to breastfeed.

I HAVE A RARE DIASEASE 1 OF 250 IN THE WORLD. I AM VERY SELECTIVE AND DR. BENJAMIN IS A EXCELLENT AND CARING DOCTOR!

This quack saw me 3 times for a total of 12 minutes . He rude and crude. He Misdiagnosed my problem to boot.

This man had his mind made up without having all the facts. My family member has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia for nine years. Within five minutes of seeing my family member, Benjamin changed the diagnosis to bipolar disorder. He seems to favor this diagnosis above all others. He prescribed a dangerous medication to my family member that has caused severe side effects. Dr refused to listen to me and instead berated me. He continued to order this med against the patient’s wishes, without a court order. He is reckless and dangerous!!

I suffer from bipolar disorder and Dr. Benjamin has been my psychiatrist for 11 years. I was extremely comfortable with my care. I have seen several psychitrist and in my opinion Dr. Benjamin gave the best care I have received. I would recommend Dr. Benjamin if you are looking for a psychiatrist. He is no longer at the facility I was seeing him at. I was sad to see Dr. Benjamin leave.

My wife has been hospitalized for schizophrenia 3 hours from my home. I've been wanting to speak to him for at least a month, he finally called. Terrible arrogant attitude. He said she could be released in a few days. I will be so glad.

No bedside manner just a HORRIBLE doctor

His license should be revoked and kaiser should terminate his contract. He should have been something other than a doctor.

This doctor is in serious need of sensitivity training. Has zero ability to relate to patients and families. Pompous, arrogant and rude.

This is simply someone who should never be allowed to treat patients.
