Dr. Lloyd Gordon King, MD

Dr King is the only gastro guy I will ever see. Knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient. What more do I need?

My initial visit he appeared aloof and didn't take time to review my records. Dr. King placed me on a medication that exacerbated my condition. When I informed him that the meds were not helpful he requested that I stop taking it but never prescribed another medication nor requested that I make an appointment to see him. When I inquired about another medication his response was somewhat sneering. My issues continue and I will be seeing another physician who has better beside manners.

Dr. King is very thorough,very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.

Dr. King is friendly, competent and has great bedside manner. His aura is one of genuineness and kindness . Two big thumbs up for me.

After hearing about my issues Dr King's scheduling staff called him and he instructed them to work me in asap for a surgical procedure despite his next appt not being for 30 days (due to his upcoming vacation & full schedule). Therefore my problem was quickly diagnosed and I am being treated accordingly. I can not tell you how much I appreciate this immediate action on their part. In the past when I've tried to get a quick appointment with other doctors for a serious problem I was usually told "go to the emergency room - we don't have any openings". Sad but true. Dr. King, and staff, thank you.

We are still working on a diagnosis/solution. He's been my specialist for five years and is still hanging in there with me.
