Absolutely the best child neurologist for my child. I'd give him more stars ifI could because I can't give him enough credit!!! He actually has gotten down on the floor to communicate with her as she is mentally only about 2. He pays attention to me talking while watching how she reacts to us and what we discussing. Would, have and will always recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Loyd Mercer is a very compassionate doctor. He has sat on the floor to communicate with my daughter who is special needs. I know there will come a day that we have to look for another doctor but I hope that day is a VERY long time from now. 5-Stars

I personally think of Dr. Mercer as my daughter's primary physician. He understands her diagnosis and will even get down to her level. I couldn't ask for a better or more compassionate doctor. He observes her as he discusses her with me as she has a diagnosis of m/r and doesn't communicate on more than a two-year-old level. I have never had a hesitation to discuss any treatment with him and I feel ALL of his patients are very important to him. They are not dollar signs either.
