This dentist does not comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act Title III Public Accommodations 28 CFR Part 36 Subpart B. He could care less if you are disabled and stunningly does not understand the difference between a guideline and a law.

Before deciding to come to this Dental practice, read the BAD reviews first before coming here. Same and similar reviews from others experiences with Moss Dental. SHADY billing management pushing panoramics on people who've already had up to date films! I called Moss Dental asking if they accepted our Dental insurance and was told yes they do. Being very specific and explaining our finances and my husband's situation we were looking for a dentist in network in search of a LOWER cost that was LESS expensive than the previous quote that was given from another practice. The receptionist from Moss Dental said yes we take your insurance and told me it would be a good idea to get my husband in for a 2nd opinion and made the appt for my husband to be seen in their office with a co pay of 109.00  They asked for my husband's films from the previous practice, my husband had to pay to have them transferred to Moss Dental only to have a panoramic forced down our  throat by Kelly and Karen telling… my husband the dentist can't treat you unless he has a panoramic even though they had PERFECTLY good films on his problem areas... First red flag I should have paid attention to! We asked for the FINAL cost GRAND TOTAL of the root canal and crown. Kelly and Karen said 2,000.00 was the FINAL cost. Again being very specific with the two women in this office, we asked for an INVOICE, total cost of what each procedure my husband would need and gave us an estimate instead which was an insanely LARGE amount of money. My husband said we have dental insurance Delta Dental so why are you charging so much? Kelly's answer was (oh Delta Dental is not an actual insurance but a discount company that give coupons off on procedures)! Seriously! You should've just been honest from the BEGINNING and tell us that we were not in network! Under the circumstances with my husband being in pain, we went ahead with his root canal and crown paid them 2,000.00 in credit. My husband asked what is the cost of the 3 fillings he needed to have done? Karen and Kelly gave my husband a deer in the headlight look and paused for a moment. He asked again and they told him 1,100.00! So my husband told them to cancel his future appts and to cancel mine. They then said but why cancel? REALLY? Because all of a sudden you don't accept our insurance plan and continued on with how Delta Dental is not an insurance company but a coupon giving discount company! Then said well how about we just reschedule for your wife and he said NO! They shoved a rescheduled appt card in my husband's hand anyways the same way they shoved the panoramic in his face that he DID NOT NEED! Not to mention charging us 288.00 for a tooth extraction which was paid in full. We recieved our E.O.B from our insurance company Delta Dental and Moss Dental charged a total of 350.00 for 1 tooth extraction! After Kelly said 288.00 was the total from the day my husband had the tooth pulled plus 128.00 for a forced panoramic that he said NO to because he had PERFECTLY good films that they already had and 109.00 just for the visit. ALL RED FLAGS we should've paid attention to but again, under the circumstances and the pain my husband was in we went ahead to get his root canal and crown. Recieved another EOB from our insurance company and the cost on the EOB for the root canal and crown from Moss Dental was over 2,200.00! Delta Dental paid almost half of both our copays and paid half on the 128.00 panoramic. I called again very upset and told Kelly that they owe us a reimbursement and she told me very arrogantly that she will not reimburse us because she was putting it towards our bill that we had no idea of and not yet recieved because Karen and Kelly both CONFIRMED with my husband and I that the TOTAL cost for root canal and crown was 2,000.00 now suddenly Kelly said (Well your husband still owes us 500.00 and that's just for the crown)!!! I said to Kelly that my husband went to another dentist and got his 3 fillings done for 1,000.00 less than what she was trying to charge us. Kelly then said to me (Well it more than likely wasn't the same material that Moss Dental uses) then asked me what kind of materiel was it? I told her it was the SAME as what Moss was going to use! She then tried to OVER TALK me trying not to let me get another word in edge wise... I asked her why is it so hard to give your clients an invoice with the cost of what each procedure will be and Kelly said we don't know what the cost of any procedure will be until an EOB is recieved but by then, you've already been seen and treated by the dentist!!! Dr Jeppy Moss III, you seem to be a kind and skilled dentist and my husband was really pleased with your work. I don't know if you're aware of what's going on with your billing manager or if you're even ok with how the women in the front mislead new clients with false information taking advantage of those who are already vulnerable because they are in pain. It seems to me that your billing manager should go to school and take a course in business management. If you are fine with how your practice is being managed, well that's very disappointing and makes your business look bad... My husband tried calling numerous times just to be able to speak with Dr Moss III but to no avail... They no longer answer our calls, won't let you speak with the dentist and takes it upon themselves to do with your reimbursements what they will by telling you that you still owe them money on charges without explanations. Delta Dental is an actual insurance plan Kelly, not a DISCOUNT Co who hands out coupons. I'm beginning to think by the looks of the negative reviews and with our own experience with this practice, That Moss doesn't accept ANY insurance.They will say yes and the two women running the front definitely have no problems asking if you have credit cards and if you don't that you can try to apply for Care Credit on THEIR website. Hmmmm... I do not reccomend

My family and I have been going here since 2010. It has always been a professional and pleasant experience. The techs and dentist are excellent with their work. The facility is clean and comfortable. The reception is awesome.

Had a billing dispute and called repeatedly to leave messages with the receptionist. No one ever called me back to discuss it and it was only a few times I was passed off to someone else that I got any explanation of what was happening. The issue stemmed from them performing a complete set of x-rays including a panoramic x-ray for my wife. She told the technician that she had a panoramic taken previous year at another office and instead of stopping and reaching out to that office they went ahead with the x-ray. They billed all the xrays under one claim which was denied so I had to pay for all the x-rays out of my pocket. To their credit they did reimburse me for the cost of the panoramic (no one ever told me they would do this it just showed up in the mail one day) but I was left paying for the other x-rays which she was eligible for and they refused to make it right. What made this infuriating was they basically said my wife lied about saying she had a panoramic the previous… year because in their words “they would not have taken the panoramic if they were told this”. Their technician was clearly in the wrong but instead of making it right they resorted to calling my wife a liar. I have never in all my years dealing with

If you know enough to collect an extra $105 from a patient at check out for a panoramic x-ray, then you know enough to notify the patient PRIOR to performing the xray of the fees involved...especially when the patient hands you their benefits summary PRIOR to being seen.
