This doctor diagnoses patients based on how they appear not by how they are feeling or what they are expressing. He told me that I “don’t look depressed” so therefore I “don’t have depression”... he uses labels and the stigmatization of mental illness to treat patients. If you have Borderline Personality Disorder on your chart at all.. considered or actually diagnosed... he will hyper focus solely on that assumption/diagnosis. And disregard any other symptom you maybe having. He told me that “your borderline is a burden to your family” ... which reiterated that concern I had already had... he is very unprofessional and truly does not care about the human being behind being a patient. He doesn’t listen to his patients at all.. I would strongly suggest to see a new provider as he doesn’t have the best interest of patients at heart. He treats everyone like a number...

I left the hospital worse off than when I went in. He made me feel like my opinion didn't matter. I wasn't able to get another doctor, even after asking multiple times by me and my family. He kept saying that he was the one who had to approve me getting a different doctor and he wasn't going to do that. This man scared me.
