Dr. Lois Wonsun Choi-Kain, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Lois Choi- Kain in the beginning of her career for about five (5) years. She helped me in many areas. She was direct, asked tough questions and said things you didn't want to always hear. I felt she was a good doctor. On the flip side, she could be harsh at times. I found after I stop seeing Dr. Choi and starting see a different doctor. I learned to accept and like myself more. I wasn't just my diagnosis. There are many parts to me that are positive, capable, loving and good. So looking back at my experience with Dr. Choi and Mclean hospital I think they label you and that's all they see. Not a whole person. I'm grateful for what learned during my time with Dr. Choi and at McLean. But a more grateful a made the break and went elsewhere.

I couldn't ask for a better doctor. I've been with Lois for over 5 years. Without her I'd still be disfunctional and stuck in the hospital. She askes the questions and confronts you on topics most doctors would be afraid to. She's the biggest reason I'm not longer classified as being a borderline personality disorder patienct.
