Dr. Lon Gerard Bitzer, MD

Dr. Bitzer did my thyroid surgery and did a really good job. My complaint with him is that he is very rude in office. I was having trouble getting my prescriptions filled, causing me to miss a few doses. The missed doses made my blood tests come back out of whack. He chewed my butt out, which was very unprofessional.

I have nothing but good things to say about DR Bitzer he did my gallbladder surgery may 5th i'm very happy and please the way i was treated , the staff at the hospital was very sweet and kind to me , thank you for being nice to me.

I was very pleased with his whole staff and with Dr. B. My son had used him first and I was impressed with his service so that why I used him.

Just arrived inside the doctor's office...I'm glad the oversized fish in the aquarium had a place to swim, because there was no available space to sit. The worst part of this office is that we are all cramped in here in the dark. There are 6 panels overhead for light bulbs and they are ALL off. I guess they think the opaque glass on the skylight is sufficient....I can assure you it's not! My last complaint is about the smarty note posted to deter you from stealing the precious reading material. This is not a professional environment. I hope the doctor is not as bad as his office for my beloved 95yr old grandfather's sake!!

Dr. Bitzer responded in excellent time for me in the ER and performed what was needed to remove a hematoma in under the skin on my left hand in the emergency room. The hand has since healed to where I no longer need any special treatment to continue the healing process.

Dr. Lon Bitzer is Dr. Bitzer's son. He was not only a great student he was on the football team in high school. He lived on the same block as I did. He is my friend. It is not surprising he is a top surgeon.
