Dr. Long Gia Luu

Meet Dr Luu
Dr. Long Luu grew up in the Union City, CA and graduated from James Logan High School. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biological Sciences and his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at the University of California at Irvine. After finishing his undergraduate education, Dr. Luu was accepted to New York University where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and continued his specialty training in Orthodontics. In completing his training at New York University, Dr. Luu achieved numerous awards and honors and co-authored articles in dental journals.
Dr. Luu is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontist. His goal is to provide the highest quality of care and up-to-date treatment for his patients. Dr. Luu …continues to challenge himself by reading the current literature in Orthodontics and taking part in pursuing continuing education courses.
When he is not straightening teeth and creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Luu enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Luu is married to his wife Nicole. They just celebrated the arrival of their newborn son, Brayden. After moving from New York City, Dr. Luu and  his wife spent two years in Santa Rosa, CA where he practiced and served the residents of Sonoma County. However, having grown up in the Bay Area, Dr. Luu has always felt drawn to come back to his hometown. He is happy and excited to have returned back to Union City where he is able to take part in seeing changes in his community one smile at a time.
