Dr. Lonny Evan Horowitz, MD

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Horowitz and his office staff. I encourage any potential patient to do a great deal of research and ask TONS of questions. If it doesn't seem right, it probably isn't. Also, make sure you read all the paperwork very carefully. Please be aware of what you're being charged and when they will charge it. I do not recommend leaving a credit card on file with his office. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place or this service to anyone.

I called and left a message regarding a question on the fees and insurance coverage before I made an appointment and cannot get a call back from them and they do not EVER answer the phone. If I cannot get through to make an appointment and ask a question then why would I waste my time going there!!! Wish I could give zero stars but system wouldn't let me.

Dr. Horowitz is knowledgeable and caring. The on-site office staff is as well; however the billing department is terribly disorganized. I typically have to way 15 - 20 minutes each office visit (the wait gets longer as the day goes on), but if you go in early in the day there should be know problem.Before starting the program and spending the time/money on the initial appointment, you should contact the office to get more details about the program. If you tend to be a social person or travel alot this may not be the program for you - this is not to say that the program doesn't work, but not every plan fits into every person's lifestyle.

Dr. Horowitz is one of the few truly board certified Bariatric medical practitioners in the Atlanta area. What's more, with his education, background and training, Dr. Horowitz also becomes a really caring general practice/family practice doctor who takes your best interests to heart. You cannot do any better than Dr. Horowitz. Take it from a long-time and satisfied patient.
