I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hebert. I agree wholeheartedly with another patient's review saying Dr. Hebert is, "one in a million. She is brilliant, accurate, respectful and has a bedside manner that is unsurpassed. I would and will recommend her without hesitation." I too will recommend her without reservation. I have been wowed that my experience with Dr. Hebert has been magnitudes better than with any other physician I have ever had. Even with the scary situation, it has been entirely positive. My surgery was excellent. The consultations before and after were comforting and informative at a time when I was very scared. Dr. Hebert answered all of my questions and addressed points I had not thought to ask about. I had a lot of questions and she made me feel like they were reasonable and that she wanted me to be completely comfortable. After surgery, she has continued to show an unprecedented level of care in follow up appointments. My experience could not have… been better.

It would have been nice to have been given an option for Lumpectomy vs Masectomy. All the good doctor told me was that "you are a young woman and breast conservation now the trend". Also, if you have a Masectomy, this spares you from Radiation, which can cause Heart issues down the road. Something I was also not informed of. And the lumpectomy needed to be done twice because she did not get clear margins. Regretfully I cannot recommend.

Dr. Burke (when we met) now Dr. Hebert, was patient, listened well to both myself, (the spouse) and the breast patient, and gave what we both thought was sound advice. Although I am more bent towards alternative care, Dr. Hebert explained the many reasons my partner should do chemotherapy, and surgery. Ultimately it was my partner's decision and although I had reservations, she is cancer free. If I ever knew of anyone who needed breast surgery, there would be no doubt in my mind that I would first send them to Dr. Hebert. It is rare to find a doctor and especially a surgeon who will stay with you as long as you need to digest the diagnosis, and to come up with a plan for treatment. We never felt pushed into a treatment, but that we were part of the decision process.

Dr. Hebert spent more time listening to me than any other I've ever seen. She is compassionate and provided me with lots of information. Though the most frightening experience of my life, I feel as if there is no doctor who could provide better care.

Dr. Hebert explained my condition simply and carefully, listened to me when I spoke and addressed all my concerns. She is the most compassionate and caring physician I have ever been to. Her work is exemplary, no bad scars, great follow up care. I highly recommend her!
