Dr Lieving Is The Most Caring Doctor In Every Way. I Have Been Going To See Her For About Twenty (20) Years. She Spends Time At Every Appointment Treating The Complete Personal Aspect Of My Health. She Is A Warm, Compassionate Doctor, Someone We Often ‘DREAM DOCTORS SHOULD BE!’ She Has Seen Me Through Some Very Tough Medical Issues, Sometimes I Haven’t Been Able To Communicate With Her. However, As My Husband Has To Accompany Me To My Appointments, Through His Detailed Notes, She Is Able To Understand My Recent Health Issues, And For BOTH OF US She Is There. She Communicates With My Specialists, Such As Endocrinologist, Which Again Gives More Of A Complete Picture Of Health Issues That Are Being Treated By Them. This Communication Avoids Any ‘Over Treatments’, Which In Today’s World Is So Important. The Group Of Doctors She Is A Part Of Consists Of General Practice, Pediatricians They All Work Very Well Together. If You Are Looking For A Wonderful Group Of Physicians,… SOUTHLAKE FAMILY MEDICINE IS A GREAT PLACE TO START. If Dr Lieving Isn’t Available There Are After Hours Clinics For Urgent Issues, A Lab For Bloodwork Or Any Other Tests Needed Is There In The Office. Also, At Times When I Needed A Specialists Dr Lieving Referred Me To Some Of The Very Best. What Else Can I Say, BEST OF THE BEST!

Dr. Lieving is attentive, personable, concerned, thorough, persistant, and thoughtful. She always is correct in her diagnosis and if not, then she keeps digging until she does diagnose the problem. I have been her patient since 2013. Excellent office staff too!

After seeing this doctor for years she recently became offended because I dared question her about a medication she had prescribed for me. I was concerned about some recent research that revealed serious side effects. Because I dared question her judgement she refused to prescribe me an alternate medication and refused to help me with the main problem I had come to her office to discuss. She behaved very unprofessionally and I would not recommend her to anyone.
