Dr. Lorelei Gonzalez, MEDICAL, DOCTOR, MD

I called in to Dr. Gonzalez's office because my son swallowed some silica. Dr. Gonzalez didn't even come to the phone to speak to me. She just told the nurse to send me to the ER. She didn't ask if the baby was symptomatic or in distress. I hurried him into the ER and the doctors were stunned that I was told to be there. The baby wasn't in any distress, felt fine and had no issues. The ER doctor asked why Dr. Gonzalez hadn't told me to call Poison Control since that was all the ER was going to do. They check my son's vitals, called poison control and then sent us home. Dr. Gonzalez never called to check on my son afterward. My three sons had been under her care for 4 years. Her needless decision to send us the ER cost $1000. All of the nurses and doctor at the ER were so apologetic that my baby had ended up there. After I called the office to complain the office manager, Star, wouldn't forward my concerns or give me the contact information for the head of the practice. This practice is… more concerned with liability than patient care.

Bedside manner was horrible, we waited for 2 1/2 hours. Staff unfriendly.

Dr. Gonzalez has a very great personality, knows how to speak to my child with care. She always asks follow up questions from the visit before, something I think is valuable in a pediatrician. My daughter absolutely adores her and is the only child I know who's excited to go to the doctor. Highly recommended.

My 6 month old daughter just got seen for her 4 month check up and is behind on vaccinations. The Medical Assistant has never been a pleasure to talk to and is not very helpful. She makes Dr. Gonzalez's look like a bad doctor. If only the staff were to work with you better and schedule patients to where they are on time with vaccinations, etc.

She is a great Dr. and from what I have seen really cares about her patients
