Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Rourke is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist. She has dedicated her career to ensuring patients receive exceptional care in a compassionate and informative atmosphere.
Dr. Rourke completed her general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the Susan G. Komen Interdisciplinary Breast Fellowship at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and most recently a Master’s in Healthcare Management from the Harvard T.C. Chan School of Public Health in order to broaden her business understanding of the current healthcare landscape. She previously served as the Chief Surgical Officer and VP Clinical Operations for McKesson’s US Oncology Network followed by CMO of Employer Direct Healthcare.
Dr. Rourke is excited to be part of the Houston Methodist The Woodlands team. She lives in The Woodlands, TX with her 13-year-old twins, her kitties, and now a rescue puppy.
