Summary
Dr. Selman received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University in 1976. She earned her medical degree from Brown University Program in Medicine in 1980 and completed a four-year Pediatric Internship and Anesthesia residency at. After completing her residency training she joined the medical staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital in 1984. Dr. Selman has been an active medical staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital, providing both anesthesia expertise in obstetrics and pediatrics, general anesthesia services. Since 2002, she has also been practicing outpatient anesthesia at various locations in San Diego and is currently the Anesthesia Director at SMI Surgery Center, an outpatient surgery center. Dr Selman is board certified in Anesthesia.
