Dr. Alexandrina Loretta Cantilli, MD

My children have been patients of Pediatrics of Central Florida for over 19 years. Until recently we have been very satisfied with the level of care we have always received there, but I can honestly since Dr. Velez retired, we have slowly seen the a demise in the quality. Appointments are rushed, prescriptions are not sent to the pharmacies as expected, they no longer give you paper prescriptions so you are forced to rely on the office to send in the prescription to the pharmacy - this last time we have been waiting 3 days and still no prescription. Nurses are not able to read Dr's notes or either the Dr didn't write down the correct notes as no one seems to be able to help. It's nearly impossible to reach a live person who knows anything - i really feel bad for the girls working the appointment line as they seem to be the only ones who actually answer the phones and are stuck having to help. We will be changing pediatricians ASAP. Please do not go there if you value your child's… health.

Dr. Cantilli was working when I scheduled my son's annual check-up after relocating to a new area. Although his two prior Pediatricians were Doctors I knew from working in the medical field; I was faced with finding someone without having a friend to ask about. After my first two minutes of meeting her, I knew she was a great choice. She was so sweet and great bedside manner. I am so glad we meet that day.
