Dr. Loretta R. White received a scholarship to Monticello College and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. She practiced dental hygiene for three years as a civilian for the Department of Defense in an Army clinic in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Upon returning to the states, she entered dental school at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She received her DDS (Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree) in 1982; graduating cum laude. She was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Award (outstanding senior dental student). She and a classmate were the first two women to be selected for the Orthodontic Program at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She completed her Orthodontic Residency in 1984.
Dr. Loretta has been an instructor in the Orthodontic Program at the University of Missouri Dental School and had lectured to the orthodontic residents and undergraduate dental students.
Dr. Loretta is a …member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. She is a past President of the Greater Kansas City Orthodontic Society. Among other organizations, she is a member of the Missouri Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Midwest Orthodontic Society, Johnson County 5th District Dental Society, and the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Loretta and Dr. Robert have practiced orthodontics together since 1984. They and their staff enjoy their patients and strive to make the orthodontic experience a pleasant one.
Dr. Loretta and Dr. Robert are married with one son, Tanner, a recent graduate of the Daniels Business School at the University of Denver.
Dr. Loretta and Dr. Robert lived in Germany for three years and enjoyed traveling extensively. They like boating, fishing, cooking, music and sharing time with family and friends.
