Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I always enjoyed science, working with children, and helping people. Becoming a pediatrician allowed me to put these three passions together. Looking back at my copy of Dr. Seuss' ""My Book About Me"" from the late 80s, I had circled dancer and physician as two potential future careers. My dancing today is pretty awful, but one out of two isn't bad!What I want my patients to know about me:I love watching my patients grow! My job is to educate and support families through the fun and challenging stages of infancy through adolescence. Being a mother has made my work as a pediatrician even more special, as I treat my patients as if they were my own children.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with my husband and two energetic boys. I love cooking and baking, being active indoors and outside, and doing 1,000-piece puzzles with my son. I am a proud Philadelphia Eagles season ticket holder- how about that Superbowl win!
