Dr. Lori Ann Bates, MD

Dr. Lori Bates is a family medicine physician who earned her medical degree from Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and completed her residency at Mayo Clinic and Medical School. With 32 years of experience in practice, she has built extensive expertise in comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. Dr. Bates is fluent in both English and Spanish, helping her connect with a diverse patient population.

Dr. Bates practices at multiple Mayo Clinic locations throughout Rochester, Minnesota, as well as at Olmsted Medical Center. She has hospital affiliations with Mayo Clinic Hospital Methodist Campus, Mayo Clinic Hospital Saint Marys Campus, and Mayo Eugenio Litta Children's Hospital. Her clinical focus includes managing heart failure and addressing various forms of fatigue, including cancer-related tiredness.
