Dr. Lori Lynne Billinghurst, MD

I would give her zero stars if that was an option. She was dismissive during the appointment and then non-responsive in terms of follow-up care. She also missed my child’s actual diagnosis by making an assumption rather than ordering actual tests. I had to pursue the testing on my own through my pediatrician, and only then was my son’s actual condition discovered. Please see another neurologist if you want to be taken seriously.

I would definitely not suggest this doctor to any family. She acted like we were waisting her time! She lacks perspective and empathy. She should definitely not be treating patients because my friendly outgoing child was totally scared and intimidated of her ! She assumed she knew everything about our child even before hearing us or having a proper examination. I am appalled that she is a CHOP doctor:

We came with our daughter on referral from our pediatrician to check for any potential neurological issues that may be causing some delays in our daughter's development to rule out any major issue possibilities. When we started talking to Lori she was very rude from the beginning not fully listening to our concerns and especially when we were describing our daughter's pros and cons. It felt like she was appalled by the fact that we came there as we felt like we were waiting her time. She was disrespectful, she did not explain much to us and rushed us from her office despite us waiting over 1.5 hours to see her. She did not look at the child or examined the child once and did not pay attention to the child at all. The kicker is the next day she provided a report I which she stated that our child basically is a vegetable who does not know how to walk talk jump ask follow orders or even eat on her own. This doctor Lori Billinghurst should be shamed of herself and her minimal 4 year… experience shows that from the door. If you love your child and have concerns you can do a lot better somewhere else with a better doctor for you child.
