I have had 7 treatments so far. With the exception of one person, who is no longer there, the staff is professional and caring. The treatments were a bit frightening at first and now I know what to expect. Each time it is a little different but I did get used to it and adapted fairly well. It is a treatment that has some risks but I have not had any serious ones. It was the first time in over 30 years that I improved within a day or two to any other treatment. I am off all of my medications which had been causing side effects I never connected to my meds. Overall I hope this treatment will be successful in the long term. Knowing depression so well, I realize nothing is totally predictable. This office probably does it better than most others because of Dr C’s training, her philosophy and her direct oversight of your condition. I consider her is an expert in this treatment. She makes no promises of success but is very encouraging if you want the treatment. She is available… after hours if you have questions.

I waited several weeks - even months - to get an initial appointment. Followup appointments are easily scheduled. She often runs late. She is worth the wait. Listens, understands, and responds with leading-edge high expertise, personalized solutions, and respect.

An immensely knowledgeable, experienced, and caring doctor. You can tell she does this because she truly wants to help people, and because she cares about the wide range of psychological issues that can be treated pharmocologically.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Calabrese. She is in incredibly knowledgeable, amazingly. She listens very attentively and is very understanding and compassionate. I felt an IMMEDIATE sense of comfort and ease speaking with her and I was totally comfortable be honest and open with her. It may be difficult to get an appointment because she is so busy, but worth the effort. Also, there may be a wait even when you have a scheduled appointment, but when you are the one in her office she gives you her full attention and doesn't rush you out the door, which would explain why she may run a bit late. I think I would prefer waiting a few extra minutes knowing that the patient in with her is getting the same care that I receive.
