Stay away from this awful woman. Did not treat us kindly or with respect.

Criticized me and my baby from the beginning of the visit without any facts of the circumstances. Displayed absolutely no care for my baby during the exam. It was a visit that made me feel bad and prevented me from asking any questions because I didn't trust her opinion.

Just an awful experience. We took our then 3 month year old son for a visit and she was filling in for our regular pediatrician. At the time he was in the average weight range but she kept asking how big was he at birth. She eventually called him a fat baby and laughed. My wife and I didn’t find it funny. He was dealing with eczema at. She commented on it and gave some recommendation but went on to say he a cute baby and will be fine once the snake skin goes away. These two issues for us were very unprofessional. The last straw was that during the retina exam she said she could not see the reflection in one that she was looking for and that we need to take him to see a specialist right away. She referred us to a friend in the field. I am not sure why she didn’t have a second doctor in the office look but once we did get into the specialist we were told he eye was absolutely fine. The fear she created was simply not necessary.

My daughter Emma LOVES Dr. Colan as do I. I love how comfortable she makes her patients/their parents feel. She's very professional and knowledgable yet still gives off a relaxed and down to earth vibe. We've been seeing her for almost two years now. She even came to see me and my daughter in the hospital after my Caesarian and checked up on me after I had multiple blood transfusions. I'd give her a 100/10 if I could. Definitely would recommend her to anyone.

I have moved from FL and have been searching for a pediatrician like Dr. Colan since. It is not possible to find anyone with her level of care and friendliness. She was amazing, and I am now finding that this is by no means a standard among doctors. She's really the best, makes young moms feel comfortable. Never demeaning or superior.

A wonderful and caring doctor. Spends time with you and your kid and answers all questions in a kind manner.
