Dr. Lorelie Josephine Fulton, MD

Dr. Fulton was my very first gynecologist and started out as my OBGYN. The entire time I was pregnant at her clinic, I was miserable. Up until a certain point, I only saw her NP, who I had a disagreement with because I discussed concerns about pain while “ya know” and she told me that I was “19 and shouldn’t be having sex anyway.” (To be clear, this was the second time I’d brought my concerns to her and the first time she told me I needed to be on birth control and that I was too young to have any true issues.) And when my partner called angry about how they disregarded my concerns, they refused to allow him to come in with me any further to check on our child. He ended up reporting that nurse to the board of nurses because of her unprofessionalism. And when I finally did see Fulton herself, she brought me alone into a room and demanded to know if I knew what he had done, I did. She wanted to know why I didn’t inform them that he had done that, to which I had no words because I had… pretty bad anxiety and she was standing over me. She went on to explain that they had an investigator reviewing her (which was normal, if they find nothing, the case is dropped, not an issue). I then responded that he only did so because the situations left me feeling very insecure and like my feelings were disregarded. Her reply was “this clinic treats every one of its patients with the best care out there” and told me I had no right to feel disregarded. After that I switched doctors, at 30 weeks unfortunately because I should have done it as soon as I found out I was pregnant and her NP told me I shouldn’t be having sex. And to top it all off, I recently received a bill in the mail from them saying I owed $1000 for them delivering my child when they did not do so. Do NOT go to Fulton. Especially if you’re young. She has no respect for her young patients.

Very friendly and professional. Fulton clinic is like dealing with trusted family. They always treat patients with tender care. Because they really do care! Thank you all so much! #forevergrateful

I was pregnant and started seeing Dr. Fulton. I started having severe pelvic pain. One of the nurses was Very insensitive, making comments like "what you can't sit down". Dr. Fulton did not even examine me to see what was the problem. It was very difficult for me to work because I could hardly sit down. She did not even take me off of work. I would tell her about my pain but it was like she was not that concerned about the pain I was in. I had to change doctors and when I did that doctor found out was going on.

My visit was awesome.. the nurse practitioner Meagan was very nice, informative, and caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this doctor office.

Both my sister and I see Dr. Fulton. My sister has never been able to carry a child to term and we fully credit Dr. Fulton for my nephew's safe arrival at 26 weeks when Dr Fulton's emergency plan enabled my sister to hold off delivering for 24 hours - just long enough to get steroids into the baby's lungs (vital, especially for those little boys). Five years later, after seeing us through infertility issues, Dr. Fulton saw me safely through my own high-risk pregnancy and was there with me every step of the way when my birth didn't go as planned and then when my daughter arrived with Down Syndrome. Dr. Fulton has held my hand, cried with me and seen me through post partum depression and has been strong enough to tell me some things I didn't want to here. I cannot say enough good things about this lady! We love her like a member of the family!

Myself and my 3 sisters have all been going to her since our teens. We've each had 2 babies under her care and I've also had 3 surgeries with her. She is an outstanding physician in every aspect. I have absolutely no complaints about het at all. I can't imagine why anyone else would, unless she just told them what they didn't want to hear. She is the best and we will all continue to see her!!

This was my first visit with Dr Fulton Im all for teaching but she sent a student whom was in Nure Practioner school to complete my history She then came in after I had gotten undressed said "hey how are you" then preceded with the pap smear. During the pap I felt like I was a science project because the focus was not on me as a patient but was to show this student how to complete this pelvic exam. The professional thing to do would have been to first obtain the history herself since this was my first visit then ask is it ok to have the student obseve the exam I would have been willing to let the student sit in and would have been more comfortable again Im all for learning,someone had to teach me. I am a healthcare professional and this experience has taught me to never put my patients in a position where they are uncomfotable having a pap is very personal,you should always try and make the individual comfortable as possibe. Now its that time of year again and Im needing my annual Im… seeking a GYN MD I hope and pray I get someone who is concerning and has great bedside manners. I like this site because you are able to view other experiences. I hope and pray that maybe Dr Fulton was just not having a good day (the day of my visit) I hope she is not the doctor Ive witnessed her to be
