Dr. Lori Ilyse Gerber, DO

Title: Run, Do Not Walk or Crawl! DR. GERBER IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR HEALTH OR MONEY! SHE SOLD ME A BILL OF GOODS. UNSOLICITED ADVICE: PLEASE RUN, DO NOT WALK OR CRAWL FROM HER & HER PRACTICE! While reviewing my lab results, Dr. Gerber wrote down the information instead of sharing the details DIRECTLY FROM THE LAB. As a result, she LIED to me about many health conditions that I did NOT have and IGNORED the reasons why I came to her — she confused me by reviewing two dozen lab results at a rapid-fire pace. When finished, she sold me 1/2 dozen of her expensive, privately-labeled supplements, again, to treat me for health conditions that I did not have. Between the $150 appointment and $350 of supplements, I WASTED $500 on her LIES! I felt horrible after taking her supplements. I immediately took the LAB RESULTS to my primary care physician who CONFIRMED that Dr. Gerber LIED to me about many health conditions that I did not have. In fact, besides some hormone imbalances, which… are normal for a 50 year-old woman, my health was in perfect condition. I stopped taking Dr. Gerber's supplements, immediately started to feel better, and found a specialist to treat the symptoms that I went to her for that she NEVER treated. (My health conditions were insomnia and skin problems due to extreme stress brought on by trauma.) I wish that I NEVER saw Dr. Gerber. I would have saved a great deal of time, money, and most importantly stress and frustration. AGAIN, MY UNSOLICITED ADVICE: PLEASE RUN, DO NOT WALK OR CRAWL FROM DR. GERBER & HER PRACTICE! Dr. Gerber is professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I’m now hot flash free (after 11 years of doctors & different approaches), am sleeping through the night, and my libido is ‘awake.’ Cants say enough good things about her! And such a friendly staff!
