My husband, a very sick heart patient , kidney patient, and diabetic, cancer to boot, went to Dr Glowacki for years. He went from a possible transplant patient to a place that kept him alive and well for years due to a combination of knowledgeable, caring doctors who followed his illnesses for years. He lived a full life because of the caring and knowledge of his great physicians. She always was a concerned, present physician. Tops in her field. Her personality is strong but she listens. She is frank. I can stand that because I am too. Outstanding in her field. She kept my dad alive as well, for many more years than he would have been without her knowledge. Sweet personalities are not my requirement. My feelings are no hanging out there. Should you find her inappropriate then tell her so. I am sure is she can dish it out, she can take it. My health is the important thing not personalities.

I work in a Doctor's office everyday for the past 8 years and i could no imagine my Physicians talking to someone like she did to me. She is rude and has the worst bed side manner I have ever seen. She wouldnt let me answer the questions before the next one was answered. She was still talking to me about my care in the middle of the hallway as she was walking away from me. She kept talking to me as if i do not do anything; I felt she thought i was below her.

Dr Glowacki is a no fuss no muss doctor. She knows her stuff and like many doctors is very busy. In the world of kidney disease sometimes honesty hurts. Also many of us don't like being told we are abusing ourselves by eating things we know we shouldn't. Many of us with kidney disease haven't come to terms with our mortality so her level of honesty may not be right for you if you want to live in denial about your disease or condition. I don't want a doctor to sugar coat things for me. I want honesty!
