Dr. Lori M King, MD

Dr.Lori King charged both my husband and I hundreds of dollars worth of lab tests for our yearly. The tests were not needed because we didn’t have any medical issues or concerns. She also charged $139 to have an initial meeting but wouldn’t do our physicals so my insurance wouldn’t cover it. The following year my husband explained the lab test situation. Told her to only order the 2 tests our insurance covered for yearly exams. She ordered more than that and they weren’t covered again. Her office and the insurance company would not budge even though she was specifically told which 2 tests to give. Once again no medical need. Gave me a test that she said may be inconclusive due to the time of the month. It was inconclusive so I had to come back for another one and was charged another copay. Did so many unnecessary tests and procedures at the expense of us. Never was forth right with that information. Ask a lot of questions so you aren’t charged for a service that you don’t need. It… could cost you HUNDREDS!!!

We are new to the area and I selected Dr. Lori King as my general doctor. I have been to see her twice and could not be happier.

Charged me $100.00 for a 5 minute consultation and didnt' even check my nose for which I had an infection in, no prescription given, just told me to keep doing what I had been doing. She couldn't even recommend an OTC drug. The Pharmacist at Tom Thumb was more helpful than her ... wish I could have given her my $100 instead. My husband and I have been sick with the same upper respitory infection for 8 - 10 days and his dr. gave him a steroid shot and antibiotic. Needless to say...I won't be back to see Dr. Lori King.

ive been seeing chris king and lori king for ever and i just love them. so polite and caring. you are definitely not just a check here. also if you dont have $$$ to drop every time you come in they can set up a payment plan. love them! this is the best office ive been to by far.
