She condescending and dismissive doctor. I have never seen a doctor who lacks empathy and emotional intelligence. Why be doctor, if you have no concern for others.

It is terrible to receive this type of service through healthcare. She is very rude and the nurse is very rude also. I had physical and then verbalized my pain, now we being charged for extra office visit billing. She doesn’t solve any problem that I’m having, no labs or follow up checks whatsoever. I will not return to her. I do not like to judge person, and I don’t consider her as a bad person. But she needs to change her behaviors and the way she communicates if she wants to be a doctor.

Staffs are very rude. The doctor is very careless, and not solving any problems with my health. She takes a look of my body. I verbalized pain and now we being charged for what we should not. I don’t see I get out of anything after seeing her. No labs or meds ordered for check up whatsoever.

Dr. Melby is upfront and gets straight to the point. She is overall very knowledgeable about her field. She is also knowledgeable about how physical health and mental health have on each other. When I have high anxiety during procedures, she provides reassurance. She makes an effort to understand and get to know me. She efficiently and thoroughly runs her appointments. Even when she seems rushed, she makes sure my needs are met and that I feel okay.

Dr. Melby is upfront and to the point. She has clarified many things for me about my health. My previous doctor wasn't as outspoken as she was, which is what some patients may prefer. However, I prefer upfront and to the point. She runs her appointments with me as efficiently and quickly as possible without rushing so much that my concerns were not heard or addressed. She is knowledgeable about the impact that physical and mental health can have on each other. I feel heard and well cared for in her office.

If you want a doc that is to the point and blunt then she is definitely the doc for you. I can understand why some people would be put off by her but for someone like me who had anxiety and insecurity, her no nonsense attitude is exactly what I need. She is very honest with you. If there's something you feel she dismisses or moves past quickly, SAY SOMETHING and she always is happy explaining why. She's just trying to save your time and energy and work towards a solution. A problem that took 3 visits to my last doc for him to even MAYBE consider running tests in another 2 weeks? 5 minutes into my explanation of my symptoms that he had ignored, she signed me up for a follow up appt. the next day where we would run those tests. I hadnt even told her about his reluctance yet either. Surprise to no one, tests were positive, she was right. If id gone to her first I would have saved well over $200 out of pocket.

In my 70 years I have never been to a doctor that seems so caring and concerned about a patient. She always has time to answer any questions and concerns I have. I am overwhelmed that she has called me later in the evenings and also Saturdays when I know she is home with her family. She has shared her personal phone number with me and says if I have any more questions feel free to call her.

She was very condescending towards me during my visits with her and was not caring at all which I would say most would want from a doctor. She talked down on me and my personal decisions and concerns. She acted like it was a burden to meet with me and was not worth her time. Would not recommend to anyone.

First visit, and I liked her a lot. Will be going back.
