Dr. Lori Kuuipo Eik Ramirez, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Ramirez for several years, and I see her once a year for a skin check. The last few years it has been harder and harder to get in to see her. When I called this year to schedule my appointment, the soonest opening she had was 6 months out. I was surprised I'd have to wait that long, but I took that apt. anyway. A week before I was scheduled to go in, Dr Ramirez' office called and said she needed to reschedule my appointment because of a personal conflict she had. When I asked when the next available apt was, the receptionist said FOUR MONTHS OUT!!! Are you kidding me?? I had already waited 6 months to get in! If the Doctor has a personal conflict, shouldn't she open another day to get patients in sooner? I think this is TERRIBLE patient care and I'm done trying to get into someone that doesn't have time for her patients. I'll definitely be finding a new Dermatologist!

She was very throrough realscanning your skin not a quick once over. She asked relevant questions and looked into all my concerns. I would definitely recommend her.

I was referred to Dr. Ramirez by my doctor to have a mole examined on my breast. When she arrived into the office she had two other people with her and asked if I'd feel comfortable with them being present during the exam. I said "No, I would rather not have a group of people present during the exam." I have scarring on my chest that I am uncomfortable exposing to anyone. Although, I did not feel I needed to explain that. However, while I was leaving the office, she was telling everyone in reception what I said, as she was obviously miffed by my refusal. Could she not at least wait to mock me until I had left the building?

I came in on my day off for a follow-up to see Dr. Ramirez when I was told in front of everyone that Dr. Ramirez refused to see me.!

Dr. Ramirez removed three moles for me during my pregnancy. Apparently, she does not have the expertise required in this area because she left me with the worst scars I have ever seen from a mole removal. I have had other moles removed by other dermatologists and not a single scar looks as poorly as the ones she removed. They look fleshly and bumpy and one even as if the skin is erupting because of all the scar tissue. She did a horrible job and I'm embarrassed to wear a swimsuit or anything sleeveless because of her lack of experience and efficiency.

Dr. Ramirez saw my son on an emergency basis. We were able to get in the same day I called. She was so good with my son (he's 7) and took time with him and I. Her office even provided a follow up call the next day to check on my son. Will be going back to see her.
