Horrible, should not be working in emergency medicine. Evan can do better.

I was seen by “Dr.” Rothermel and will never go back. She couldn’t diagnose me but wanted me to stay overnight. She was mean, vindictive and called me a liar. I told her I wouldn’t stay, she said she would contact the Dept. of Transportation to have my license taken away. I didn’t stay and didn’t lose my license. I put my experience on my social media pages. It’s been six months and I have been contacted by 42 people who have had bad experiences with her. To treat so many people disrespectfully, rudely and dismissively is not a problem, it’s a pattern of abuse. I complained to the hospital, but they treated me like it was a normal experience with this doctor. They know they have a bad doctor, but don’t do anything about it. Covering up her actions makes the hospital, administrators and personnel who don’t say or do anything complicit in her actions. She has no bedside manner, couldn’t diagnose my problem, but still wanted me to stay overnight. What a joke!

The nurses apologized for her actions as I left. I complained to the hospital, but they treated me like it was a normal experience with this doctor. If you see Dr. Rothermel walk through the door, do yourself a favor and just leave. She's not going to help you. She's not going to even try.
