Dr. Lori Shinell Seibert, MD

She missed my sons pneumonia after 2 appointments! We ended up in the emergency room after her telling me there was nothing wrong with him! She wrote us off and didn't seem to care or give him a proper check. I'm furious and appalled by everyone at this practice. They made me feel crazy and stupid for persisting something was wrong. He was in need of medication and they gave him nothing.

Took our younger child in because the rest of the family caught walking pneumonia from a high school sibiling and all of the rest of the family was being treated with the correct antibiotic for walking pneumonia. We strongly suspected our younger child caught it too, since she had the identical symptoms. Dr. Seibert, however, would not listen to us and knowingly prescribed an antibiotic that does not treat walking pneumonia. The doctor then did not follow up and our child of course got sicker and we called 3 days latter asking for the correct antibiotic to be prescribed she would not do it unless we came back in and paid more money. The 1st visit with wrong diagnosis cost about $240. We found another much less expensive better doctor who gave proper diagnosis and antibiotic that day.

We love Dr. Seibert, you do not have to wait long to see her and when she comes in the room she is caring and efficient. She always takes the time to discuss what is going on with your child. We like the fact that we can go to Frisco or Plano to see her since we live about 4 miles from either office.
