She doesn’t listen to patients. Both my friend and I went to see her for depression and anxiety. She diagnosed both of us the first visit and prescribed us each 3 medications. Sooo excessive. Each time we went back she didn’t even listen to our needs and feelings just was concerned with how the meds were working for us. Avoid!

She only wants to write you meds so she can get a kick back from the pharma companies

I have never posted on a doctor before but I have to write about her as she could be a very dangerous doctor. I saw her years ago after needing a new psychiatrist due to an insurance change. She saw me for one minute then made me watch a 5 minute video about lithium. She said ignore the drug and see if I related to the symptoms. Well I didn’t. So she spoke to me for no more than 10 minutes and said I was bipolar. I told her that I didn’t agree and not one doctor had ever given me anything close to that diagnosis. She said I talked to fast, was too hyper and because I had been depressed before so that I didn’t want to get out of bed (um im pretty sure most everyone has felt that way once in their life...give me a break) that it was clear I had manic episodes with intermittent downs. She gave me Wellbutrin and depakote(which was the new drug back then) which were on PRE WRITEN PRESCRIPTIONS!!! SHE HAD STACKS OF PHOTOCOPIED PRESCRIPTIONS FOR SECERAL BIPOLAR DRUGS IN PILES AT HER DESK!!!… Long story short I freaked out on the meds and had to call her on a Saturday and she told me to STOP THE WELLBUTRIN AND TAKE MORE DEPAKOTE!!! I am not bipolar, have taken wellbutrin and respond fine to it, but AM NOT BIPOLAR. BEWARE. You will walk out of there with a diagnoses of bipolar not otherwise specified. She should be allowed to practice.

I think I owe it to people to give a review just to help someone else avoid what I went through. Her use of medications is liberal to put it kindly. Put me on a benzo. I questioned her about the safety of the meds and it was brushed over. My anxiety/panic got way worse on the meds and when I suspected this she said it couldn't be. I also raised concerns about addiction. She told me I didn't have an "addictive" personality and I could just stop in two weeks. Oh boy...was she wrong!!! I finally used the Internet to find out what was happening and when I brought the info to her she literally threw it in the garbage in front of me. Turns out your not supposed to be on a benzo longer than 2-3 weeks. I stopped seeing her and it has taken me almost four years to get off and recover from the meds. The drugs it turns out were making me 100x sicker than what I went for in the first place. I am now almost recovered, take absolutely nothing, and have no anxiety other than normal stuff. This… has been the worst four years of my life I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy. The suffering was immense and what made it worse was her denial that the drug could be the cause. I was told it was my original anxiety and it was in my head. Look benzo withdrawal symptom on Google or Wikipedia and you'll get an idea of what can happen. I was a pretty normal guy until this whirlwind stole four years from me.

Horrible doctor, basically just writes a script and sends you on ur way!

And that’s money! She sees her patients as walking dollar signs and it’s obvious throughout treatment. You can miss an appointment (just once for a valid reason) or need to reschedule (just once) and she will financially penalize you for it. She is rude, condescending and disgusting. Not even sure how she has a license to practice since she’s so mean to patients.
