Lori Storer

Hello, my name is Lori Storer. I grew up in St. Marys Ohio. ` I have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. I studied for my bachelors degree at Writer State University. I received my Master's degree at Liberty University. I am certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I have worked with individual's suffering with severe mental health issues, such as Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, etc. When the company closed I worked in the emergency department at the local hospital completing diagnosis assessments in order to see if patients need to be hospitalized. After that job, I started working with children in the foster care system. I requested the chance to branch out into outpatient mental health to work with other children in the community. It gradually opened the door to working with adults as well. I started getting referrals from pediatricians and schools. A former employer sent referrals as well . I have worked with individuals suffering from major …depression, anxiety, trauma, postpartum, anger management, relationships, communication issues ,self esteem issues ,attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder. I have worked closely with the LBGT population and welcome all clients with NO judgement. I am solution focused and will work with you to enhance tools you already have. I help individuals learn to identify and change negative thinking.. I will welcome you with NO judgement.
