Summary
While many people think about visiting the doctor when they are sick, Lori Yanchik-Castro, MD, looks forward to wellness visits because they allow her to connect with families and get updated on the growth, development and well-being of their children. After more than a decade in the pediatric field, Dr. Yanchik-Castro has had plenty of chances to see her patients grow. She loves that pediatrics allows her the great opportunity to help children as they develop into the future generation. As a mother herself, Dr. Yanchik-Castro can relate to the concerns and questions of parents and caregivers. She and her husband have two children. Together, they love watching movies, reading books, going to the park and visiting the zoo and the aquarium.
