Dr. Lorien Mary Paulson

Dr Paulson has been taking care of our special needs daughter for six years now and has performed several surgeries. We just learned Dr Paulson is no longer at Children’s Mercy and felt compelled to post a review because we miss her! Dr. P was the only doctor that our Amie would let clean out her ears (and she has seen several other ENT docs!). Dr. P was not only patient with her, but also with explaining everything clearly, and even answering her younger brother’s questions (he is a bit overprotective of sis!). Amie really seemed to take a liking to her. We can only hope to find another provider as kind and knowledgeable as Dr. Paulson.

Dr.Paulson did my surgery about two years ago at childrends mercy. She was so good to me even let me take my teddy bear in to the OR. The surgery she performed was a parotidectomy. She literally did such a great job. I so thankful to her. She explained to us very well how the procedure was going to be, something helped me to feel more confident that she knew what she was doing, step by step she showed us images of what could be affected or where the tumor was . she told us that it would be some symptoms after surgery, something that Dr. in Topeka who would do the surgery before did not do and was going to send me home in less than 12 hrs. Thanks to several opinions, my mother decided to seek a second opinion and that is how we arrived with Dr. Paulson. But we are very grateful to Jehovah our God that everything that could happen until now I have only felt very itchy. something she told me that would be normal. Thanks Dr Paulson for taking care of me.
