Found Dr Mills to be a very professional, efficient, and attentive physician. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for an effective GI physician!

Was critical of my primary doctor... no bedside manner never touched me no exam no hand shake NOTHING I was in severe pain because of a fissure still waited for 3 and a half weeks to be seen no discussion of treatment for the fissure was sent for test which was neg and still waited for 2 more weeks ..only to be sent for another test which could not be done because I HAD A FISSURE .....

Simply the best, a very professional, courteous doctor..very easy on the eyes.

If you have Crohns Disease or Ulcerative Colitis, Harvard Educated Gastroenterologist Dr. Gage is for you. He has a wonder relationship with patients and is very current and educated on the latest therapies and medicines available and his nurses and staff are so kind and attentive. I go to their Fort Washington Office which is only 15 minutes from Alexandria, or 25 from Downtown DC. Free easy parking and right off the main road.

In fairness to the doctor I have Been there once and the problem was not officially diagnosed yet. I had to initiate a follow-up visit. Very quick to get my charge card for the visit which could be improved to be more personable. Waiting in waiting room longer than actually talked to doctor. Overall, I don't go to the doctor for personality but getting my problem solved and hopefully that will happen!

She spent literally five minutes with me, did not do a rectal exam and said, "Let's schedule a colonoscopy next week". My issue was rectal pressure. Feeling of rectal fullness even after bowel movement. You would think she would have done a rectal exam first before going to doing a procedure. And I am young, not at the age requirement for screeing.
