I saw her once, never again! She didn’t have all my information , I had esophageal cancer . Had an esophagectomy, and had my esophagus removed and stomach pulled up to make a new esophagus, not an easy surgery. I had testing first done at Doylestown Hospital, then sent to Jefferson Hospital to confirm my cancer before surgery....surgery at Jefferson, all this, and her first comment to me was you didn’t have cancer! then she said. after me telling her , oh I guess I should have gotten all your records!

Dr. Lorraine Dougherty diagnosed my husband 1 1/2 year ago with severe blood clots (DVT) and immediately sent him for thrombolysis at Jefferson Hospital, after he had previously been hospitalized in the emergency room of Einstein in Oaks, PA and again in Abington Lansdale hospital for three days to no avail. He has gained over 20 lbs of blood fluid in his legs and when she saw him for the first time, we saw the concern in her face .We believe she saved his life as he had 11 hours of thrombolysis and a weeks' stay at Jefferson Hospital.
