Dr. Lorraine L Mackstaller, MD

I thought she was absolutely great until I started having some serious medical issues. I saw her and she laid out a diagnostic plan. Sounded good until nothing came of it. Over several months she asked me 5 separate times what my problem/symptoms were (don't doctors take notes?) and then finally sent me for a test for the wrong thing. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I have been waiting years to find a doctor like her. I was told in advance that my appointment would be delayed for 45 min. I did not mind because I had heard such good things about Dr. Mackstaller. When I did see her she spent one hour with me! Went over all medical histories and did a good examination. Told me what was wrong, what I needed to do and I had a return appointment set for me before I left her office. Very friendly, and I could relate well with her. I am a senior citizen and have had serious health problems for a long time. I am so thrilled she is now my physician.

She is the best doctor I have seen in over 40 years!!

I like the way she relates to me. She doesn't rush, and she knows who I am. She inspires confidence.

I would not go to any other doctor unless forced to do so. Sh has been supportive, is very knowledgeable and I trust her implicitly. She has cared for my husband and I extremely well and I consider her to be very concerned about her patient's well-being in all areas of their life.

She is the best doctor I've had here in Tucson in my 40 years of living here! She is efficient, very knowledgeable, has great follow-up, and is friendly.

I think she's an excellent physician.
