Dr. Lorraine M Rudder, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Rudder for almost 4 years. In that time she has never rushed me thru the appointment. She shows every time that she is a doctor that truly cares about getting her patients out of pain!

Dr. Rudder & her staff gave me nothing but the best care & service. Once I get insurance again I am going back for my chronic problems!

D.Rudder came in. Asked what I was there for. I brought every record X-Ray etc.. With me!!! She never looked at it!! Stated I looked healthy!! I have 2 genetic diseases, AS & EDS, many fused calcified joints!! This Dr is a Rude, extremely uncompassionate & judgemental person!! Even with the Diagnoisis from 3 specialist right in front of her face, she still did not believe I had these diseases I have struggled with for 32yrs!! All because I Look OK to Her!! She did a quick assessment which was a joke!! My PT examined me much better than this lady!!! She stated you don't need any thing for pain, then chafed her mind , so they could over charge both insurances, which I later got a call from both companies stating they were investigating her for over charging!!! I only say her 3 times, which all there were absolutely rediculas!! I would suggest to anyone to stay as far away from this place as possible!! She is defiantly not competent to be treating anyone!! I later found out her office got… shut down after being investigated. Be very careful and research any Physician you have caring for your life!! With her I guess you have to have severed limbs and dragging yourself into her office for her to see the nose on her face even!! Absolutely a joke!! I truly do not see how people like her even get through the medical system, but there seem to be more and more!!! Forgot to mention, you can forget anyone returning your phone call or offering any help or advice!!! But they will surely over charge you and your insurance companies!!

Dr. Rudder is an excellent physician. She shows through her personal connections with her patients how much she cares about helping you with your exact needs.

Dr. Rudder and her staff have been providing my pain management care since 2007 The care has always been genuine and centered, aroaround truly understanding my pain and treatment of that pain and the many areas that impact pain directly and indirectly. Dr. Rudder is an awesome caring professional and human being.

I was very impressed with her knowlege, of not only her specialities, in pain management, physical therapy, and anaesthesia; but she also has been furthering her education in all kinds of other medical fields,such as the brain, immune system, digestive tract, and many more parts of the medical body. She has a great bedside manner, and follows up with her patients. She has a real passion for her patients, and a zest for her medical knowlege.

Did not like first experience in office. Staff seemed annoyed by questions I asked, as new patient. Decided to find different MD. Can only leave messages, no staff member ever answers phone, and they think that is OK. DIDN't seem to care that I decided not to come back. Never asked why, or if they could further assist me.

My first visit went very well, but it all went downhill after that. Dr. Rudder is notorious for not permitting her patients to take pain medication. After 9 years in pain management, she was the first to say I didn't need any pain intervention. Now, I see 2 pain specialists and they have put me back on very strong pain medications and performed several pain intervention procedures. It is hard to get an appointment - the doctor is very busy - and time with her always feels rushed. On more than one occasion I was still asking her questions when she was halfway out in the hallway. The wait time is very long as well, both in the waiting and exam rooms. The staff is very friendly, but not very efficient. An urgent call I made to the office (at 8:01 am) was not returned for 30 hours. Requests for my records and test results went unanswered, and I ended up having to go to the imaging providers themselves and hand deliver MY test results. To a specialist she suggested I see, no less. There… were also billing issues with my insurance, but this could have been a simple miscoding mistake by the staff.

Today was my first visit. I will rate Dr. Rudder again when I get to know her and the staff a little better. My overall first impression was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and was comfortable to talk to. :-)

dr. rudder is my freind as well a great pain doctor. ive been to several pain drs. and shes the best!!! sometimes it takes a while to see her but its well worth it. ive been seeing her for at least 8 years now!!!
