Dr. Toma is an excellent doctor. He is a skilled surgeon, and his bedside manners are superb. He is professional, and personable at the same time. Dr. Toma performed my hip replacement surgery. It worked exactly as expected. I was up and walking the afternoon of procedure and out of the hospital the next day. My rehab is going well. I highly recommend Dr. Toma to everyone.

My experience with Dr. Toma and his staff was very good. His transparency and option based treatment was just what I needed for my specific health issue. I would highly recommend Dr. Toma and Christine Martinez for any ortho related assessments and/or treatments.

This is my 2nd hip replacement, now 4 weeks out from surgery. I was out of bed and walking about 6 hours after surgery was completed. The spinal anesthesia plus sedation (not general anesthesia) was so great. Mobility has been terrific (walking >30 min at a time, up and down hills), strength returning with physical therapy. Graduated to a cane at about 10 days postop. Pain has been controlled with only Tylenol. I would return to Dr. Toma and team in a heartbeat for hip replacement. Airica was my scheduler, who kept me infor.ed and on task in the weeks leading up to surgery. I appreciated the text-based education pre- and post-op, reminders about what to expect, my next steps, and making sure I was on track to be in best shape for recovery. Great experience all around.

There aren’t enough words to describe this providers expertise delivered in a kind, positive, and thorough way. He’s in high demand, but I’ve felt he’s seen me as a person not a procedure. Very few great surgeons have good bedside manners like Dr. Toma. I’ve felt I was in the best of care from the beginning.

Dr. Toma and his team are outstanding. I have recommended Dr. Toma to many of my friends and associates. Every step of the process was exceptionally well done and totally exceeded my expectations.

Dr Toma is the best orthopedist I have ever worked with. I’ve had issues my whole life because of having EDS and he totally understands my issues and has helped me for 20 years after my first surgery with him for a hip replacement because of being born with hip dysplasia. He is professional and personable at the same time. Always puts patients first and his group of assistants are great too. He became my family orthopedist for my dad, mom and brother who have all needed knee replacement surgery. All I can say is I consider him the best and only hear great things about him in the hospital from everyone there.

My visit with Doctor Toma was very good! I was expecting it to be bad as I thought I would be getting a shot of cortisone. I am terrified of needles but Dr. Toma was excellent - the best “shot giver”I have had, as it didn’t hurt at all and my knee is back to normal. I would definitely go to him again and I highly recommend him to everyone!
