Dr. Louis William Apostolakis, MD

I had an ethnic rhinoplasty almost a year ago with this doctor. My nose was wide, had a bump and bulbous. I saved for 6 months for a nose and chin augmentation I was ready to get it done and over with. His staff were nice and professional. In my consultation he rushed me and I didn't do any computer imaging and he said you wouldn't look right with a small nose. I trusted his opinion being naive since i've never had any cosmetic work. When I took off the cast I knew immediately I had made a HUGE mistake. My nose was super droopy and while my tip was smaller it was unlike any nose I had ever seen. He said wait for the swelling to go down. I was freaking out. He was rude and ignored my questions on several occasions. He acted like the nose was fine. He didn't care at all. My nostrils aren't even sewn together right. One is clearly higher than the other and retracted. Everyone has said they can tell i've had surgery. It looks completely unnatural and not aesthetically pleasing. I… hid in the house for 3 months straight. I'm still embarrassed to go anywhere even work. I've consulted another doctor and it cost anywhere from $16-$18 grand for a revision. I'm hoping anyone who reads this will listen and save their money and go to a different doctor and not have to experience the nightmare i'm currently living in!!!

I just had a brown lift surgery with Dr. Apostolakis 10 days ago and I am very pleased with the outcome. He is the best facial plastic surgeon in town, If you need works done to improve your face, definitely you need a facial plastic surgeon and not a plastic surgeon who also works on other parts of body beyond facial. I have been with Dr. Apo since 2013 and have been always happy with his facial works on me. I did a thorough research prior to selected him for my facial plastic surgeon. He is the best!

Dr. Apostolakis is truly a well educated and artistic surgeon. I presented to him a concern of mine since the age of 15, the protruding nose of my loving father. Now as an adult I've began to notice how obvious the protruding has become. Especially, when taking photos of my side profile in my opinion are not my best. What I admired the most about Dr. Apostolakis, he really listened intently and explained to me in exact detail on how he would achieve the look I was desiring. A very NAUTURL, yet subtle look. Since after the surgery, I am so excited and overall pleased with the new look of my nose. I shall say I am now ok with taking side photos and will do so happily. I absolutely would highly recommend/trust Dr. Apostolakis to anyone who is interested in having a Rhinoplasty or facial plastic surgery.

I had a tear trough implant by Dr. Apostolakis two years ago and I am very pleased with the result. Dr, Apostolakis and his staff were excellent. I did a thorough research on the plastic surgeons in Austin prior to my tear trough implant and found that Dr. Apostolakis was the best one. First, he is a facial plastic surgeon. His specialties are in the area of the face, which to me is the utmost important since I want my surgeon to have as much experiences as possible in the facial plastic area. Second, Dr. Apostolakis has been in his practice for 15 years +; therefore, he has plenty of practical experiences in the facial plastic surgery. Third, he is very handsome man himself, which to me it is inspiring to have a talent, young, experienced handsome surgeon to work on my face to make me more beautiful. I am having a lower facelift/necklift in about 4 weeks from today with Dr. Apostolakis, I am not nervous at all since I know he will do a perfect job on me.

The whole experience with Dr. Apistolakis and his staff was wonderful. I felt at ease and cared for by all, from day one. The procedure as well as the recovery was a breeze. The result of my new appearance exceeded my excpectations and the price was fair.

Every time I see some celebrity with a botched face job, I wonder why they would go to a butcher when there is someone as good as Dr. Lou. I have had several procedures with Dr. Lou and I wouldn't consider letting anyone else touch my face. He is a perfectionist and an artist, and isn't that what one would look for in a plastic surgeon?

I am a 56 year old male and have been seeing Dr. Apostolakis for about 5 years and have had stellar results, from a complete face lift to Botox and light laser peels. He is meticulous about his work. I have never met any doctor who is so resolved to making sure everything is absolutely perfect! When it comes to your face I researched every doctor in Austin and he was one of the few that specializes only in facial cosmetic surgery. When I had my face lift a few years ago people knew I looked a lot younger and I did not have that look you often see with celebrities who have their face stretched too far and look funny. I just looked about 10 years younger and I cannot see any scars at all. No one can tell I had surgery, not even my new girlfriend. His staff is absolutely charming! They treated me like a king when I was there and were so attentive I felt like I was at a spa, I am not joking. His offices are amazing and his surgery suite even has a window to let in natural light, find that… somewhere else! I am going in for a nose job later this year because he also did my wifeâ??s nose a few years ago and it was perfect! I think he is probably the best facial plastic surgeon out there. I now live in Houston but will make the drive back to Austin for anything that has to do with facial work. He is simply the best out there period! I saw a negitive review from someone out there and it seems like there are people out there who are never happy with anything, especially if their face is jacked up anyway. A lot of people are out there to try to win the lottery by suing people. Shame on them! If you research the negative review it changes from web site to web site..... Dr Apostolakis is the best!!

All my life people told me I was beautiful. That beauty had faded when I reached my 40s, and when I reached my 50s I looked like a crone. Someone told me not to go to a doctor in my small town. I spent a year looking at doctor's websites. I visited three of my top choices, and decided on Dr. A. I was impressed with his staff, his office was well appointed, and he radiated competence. I went in for a face lift, rhinoplasty, lid surgery, and he recommended lip augmentation. When I returned for my follow-up visit, I told him my nose looked uneven and my lips looked very large. He told me everything was fine. The next day my lips began to swell and peel. After three weeks my lips were back to their original size. The side of my top lip, where he injected my tissue, has almost entirely disappeared. It looks like I was born with a slight birth defect. The 'lids' i wanted removed were flaps of skin hanging down below my brow. I pointed to them during my initial interview, but… he was looking at my picture on the computer. That miscommunication resulted in him performing a regular eyelid surgery. It has made my eyes, which used to predominate my face and were my best feature, look small. One of my eyes has a lot of scar tissue around it- a yellow, puffy scar on the inside area near my nose and a scar that looks like crows feet on the outer portion. That scar gives my eye a downward appearance. People talk about the comments they receive after surgery. I have received two, both from children. One child observed that the two sides of my nose don't match. Right he is. One nostril is much smaller than the other, and the skin around the smaller nostril is also noticeably smaller than the other side. Another child asked me why my nose is a funny shape. Besides being uneven, and an unattractive shape, my nose is still too large for my face.I've seen other woman my age who have had cosmetic surgery, so I know I didn't have unrealistic expectations. I should have asked them who they went to. I told the anesthesiologist that I am sensitive to medication. He assured me he would give me something light. Apparently he just thought I was a nervous woman and didn't take me seriously. My husband told me I was unresponsive for three hours after surgery. That seems to have impacted my short-term memory. I am surprised and disappointed by the results of my surgery. I was such a believer in Dr. A. My advice is to ask someone who has had good results who they went to.

I have been going to Dr. A. for 15 years. He does incredible work and his staff is incredible. He will give you an honest opinion and will not recommend any procedure that will not enhance your appearance. He is a facial artist and takes great pride in his work. I have recommended several of my friends to him over the years and I am sure they will tell you the same thing.
