I have been cared for by Dr. Avvento for over eighteen years. During that time I have gone through chemotherapy a number of times and through it all Dr. Avvento was always there to guide me and counsel me and generally be a source of comfort. I wasn't just my disease with all the numbers reviewed to determine how I was doing. He talked to me and heard me and sometimes he heard the things I didn't say. What a remarkable man!

I have been seeing Dr. Avvento for close to 20 years. I have never experienced the caring and support, not to mention his knowledge of the situation, I have received from both the Doctor and his staff. He truly cares about his patients. If you were ever in need of his services I would very highly recommend Dr. Avvento

Dr. Avvento is outstanding and his staff are superb. He got me through Hodgkins and stayed on top of another colon cancer scare with utmost professionalism.

Dr. Avvento is a very caring and expert doctor that I would recommend to anyone needing an hematologist/oncologist. You the patient is his priority!! I have been very well taken care of by the doctor and his staff. The care at this facility is excellent I know I am in good hands.

its unbelievably scary to go to a doctor for cancer. This dr and his employees made me feel like people were there for me.

What can I say?! After a series of blunders by other MDs (some listed in Top Doctors!!!) of various types pertinent to my illness, I found an MD almost too good to be true. My experience with him is over almost a year's time. He's truly a National Treasure.

Dr. Avento can't be beat. You'll likely see him at a tough time in life. He is deeply involved in each patient's physical, mental, and spiritual health.. His judgement and diagnostic skills are excellent. He is a caring physician in a difficult field.
