Dr. Louis William Catalano JR., MD

One receptionist in particular was very rude the other staff were all polite, however during my appointment they were loud and obnoxious right out side of the door. Honestly I could have mistaken them for children. I think my visit could have gone better if the doctor could HEAR what I was saying. Listening wasn't the problem, hearing it correctly was. He is a very old school doctor that asked A LOT of questions, unfortunately not all of them were appropriate or necessary. There were also some comments made that came off as judgmental, unprofessional, and just plain out of line. I would encourage any one who does go here to read through the note on the FMH app following their appointment, some of my information was completely wrong. I had high hopes after finding this doctor on the national headache foundation website, but was ultimately let down.

The staff is rude and will kick you out for mistakes they say you made when the mistakes were actually their own. Terminating someone's care so abruptly is dangerous, careless and really scary when, as the patient, you don't know where to go or what to do. And the staff doesn't care one little bit either. They will stand in the office and argue with you and tell you how wrong you are for as long as you feel like arguing, not caring what that stress is doing to you. The staff should be put in this day. same frightening situation themselves and maybe they'd know what they're doing to really do sick patients. Dr.Catalano and his colleagues should be ashamed of what they do to do to sick, scared patients.

A good neurologist, in a small town!

Amazingly knowledgeable. Finds the solution when no one else can. Works for a proficient effective recovery. Takes notes. Listens. Saved another life.

Saved my husbands life. Has a huge knowledge base and knows how to apply it to the right situation. Smartest doctor I've ever met. Works the problem until solved. Never gives up.

Came in glanced at me, asked a couple questions, told me to lode weight and then walked out. The thing is I'm not heavy, I have a very very large chest that makes me look heavy. But he didn't notice because he wouldn't look at me. He was rude and ignorant. Will never go back I wouldn't care if I had a brain tumor. He's the worst, his staff is just as bad.

He didn't listen to a word I said. Even wrote down sympTom's I didn't say

Dr. Catalano was an excellent doctor. Took time to listen to your concerns and treated you with respect. HOWEVER, his staff was rude, arrogant and would dismiss you and terminated your care w/o reason or concern for your well-being and leave you in a horrible, frightening situation. I cannot believe Dr. Catalano would permit this behavior from is staff, knowing the physical danger his patients were being subjected to. And, the staff blamed their own mistakes on their patients then refused to allow you to see the doctor.
