I have been going to Dr Chiara for many years for skin cancer. He is an excellent and caring dr. The staff is wonderful. I would recommend him highly.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Chiara for years. Some of our kids are away in college, but still come back to see him every time they are in town, or even drive from college for a couple of hours after classes to see Dr. Chiara. We are always treated well. It's easy to get a hold of the doctor to talk to him, easy to get in to see him. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. They make you feel like you are their friend, not just another patient! They care about you!

He cares about his patients! I had have a horrible rash for months and it was getting worse. I was miserable. I called the office just before the Holidays and they got me in the same day. The girls in the office were very nice, friendly and patient. The doctor spent a long time with me, they had to call a couple of doctors I had seen before including an urgent care to figure out what I was given in the past. Dr. Chiara prescribed some medications to me. I started getting better within days. When I saw Dr. Chiara in a week or two, I was the happiest person ever. I would definitely recommend this office!

Dr.Chiara and his staff are very personal, professional and easy to get in to see. I have kids who are patients there. My kids have busy schedules due to sports and after school activities. This office is always easy to get in, get refills, get the treatment and it is always so flexible to work around MY schedule. My whole family sees Dr.Chiara for years. We love going there. And we always get good results.

Dr. Louis C. Chiara and the entire staff at Milford Dermatology are always very helpful, professional, and friendly. You will not find a better group to meet all your dermatological needs. Dr. Chiara was recommended to me by one of his other patients. I recommend him with without any hesitation or reservation whatsoever!

This man did save my life. Six years ago he found Type II Melanoma on my upper right chest and immediately got me into U of M Medical Center for surgery. All was removed and I am alive and well. Had he not been the "top-notch" Dr. that he is I would most certainly not be writing this today. He has been treating my entire family for years and we think the world of him.

Thank goodness Dr Chiara & his nurse "squeezed" me in at the end of a busy day because my poison ivy was actually shingles and I was within hours of the time window when the anti-retrovirals he prescribed would be effective. I shudder to think how much worse this bout would have been without his excellent and aggressive care. He even called me a few times over the weekend to check on my condition. I will forever be grateful to Dr Chiara and his nurse for their quick diagnosis and aggressive treatment.

I've been going to Dr. Chiara for several years, and there's good and bad to report. On the plus side, they can always see you right away, which is a nice departure considering other dermatologists in the area make me wait for months. Also on the plus side, wait times are very short in the waiting room and his charges are quite reasonable. I've had several basal cell cancers removed by him and other derms. and other doctors charged much more and then explained that all dermatologists will do the same thing, that is, max out the amount billed to the ins. co. Not true! On the down side, one of the reasons he's so efficient is because he doesn't like to waste time, which can be disconcerting when I'm in for a cancer checkup, so I force him to slow down and I ask questions. I point out everything suspicious. One time, I pointed out something on my scalp and he said it was nothing, a year later he was alarmed and removed it. Hello? Finally, during my last visit he asked if I had… ever had skin cancer. Uh, YEAH! So, he's human. Get him to slow down and keep in mind he seems to have his good days and bad days. Overall, I keep going back because of the convenience and reasonable cost. He is a nice guy, too. Others in this profession seem like they just want to separate me from my money and have no problem making me wait forever.
