I want to say thank you Dr. Chmura for making my smile beautiful! I was older when I decided to get my teeth fixed and it is worth it. You are never too old to get your teeth fixed. The whole office team is very professional and knowledgeable and I would recommend anyone to go there. It has been a pleasure and Thanks.

I had braces when I was an adolescent, almost 20 years ago; however, some years back, one of the retainers from my first orthodontic experience broke, and then shortly thereafter, the other retainer became ill fitting. Not having the money to replace them at the time, my teeth shifted, and there was again crowding in my lower incisors, and the gap was returning between my upper incisors. I felt somewhat reluctant to return to an orthodontist at the age of 32; however, my dental insurance provider offers some limited coverage toward orthodontics, and I thought it would be worthwhile to see about cosmetically and mechanically improving the alignment of my teeth. At the time, I chose Dr. Chmura because he was one of the most conveniently located providers who offered Invisalign. This was a fortunate choice for me, because Dr. Chmura and his staff, from my initial consultation to the final retainer check, were professional, cheerful, and receptive to any questions and concerns I had. … I had little trouble making appointments that fit into my schedule (which is no easy feat, as I work an off-shift in health care). I received prompt reply on the couple occasions I telephoned and left messages, or had questions related to my aligning trays. Overall, I would heartily recommend Dr. Chmura's practice to any adult who might be delaying or is already set for an orthodontic revision, or for his or her first orthodontic experience.

I hired Dr. Calley to do the Orthodontia work on my son. I had already paid 3/4 of the amount owed when I get a letter in the mail stating that Dr. Chmura would be taking over in a few months. I attempted to call Dr. Calley and there was no answer. I called Dr. Chmura and she said they had already taken over and were in Dr. Calley's old office. So it wasn't a matter of months, it was a matter of a few days. Dr. Chmura is knowledgeable and professional. However, I have not been pleased at all with the way this has been working out. We have had several visits because of broken brackets and such since Dr. Chmura took over. One happened while we were actually standing in his office. Rather than looking at my sons mouth, they just assumed he was having trouble getting his bands on and told us to practice at home. When we got home, we realized that the hook had actually broken. They also have an office in Marshall. You never know what day they are going to be in which city. … Which means I have to go to Marshall sometimes when his brackets break. I didn't sign up to have an out of town Orthodontist. One of my last visits I was told about "Sure Smile"?? It was going to cost another $600 on top of what I already paid. At first I agreed because I was told it would shorten the amount of time he would have his braces on. The next day I called a few other local orthodontists and was basically told that being this far into the treatment, it wouldn't shorten it enough to warrant the extra cost. Today I told the office staff that if it doesn't cost me too much more, I would be trying to find a closer orthodontist that is more available. Rather than trying to help (why would they, they are already paid in full), she simply said "OK". I can't say that I would ever recommend this office to anyone that works or has a schedule. You can't count on them being in one office or even their availability.
