Dr. Louis Patrick Coates, DO

I have never felt more dismissed and unheard. He came in sat at the computer, wrote a quick prescription and basically walked out while I was still talking. He was not in the room with me for more than 2 minutes. I will give him kudos for his annual physical which was my first time seeing him. He was very thorough. This was my second visit. Had it been my first, I would never be back. Still unsure if I will return.

Every time I visit they find a way to disappoint! -Never answers a SINGLE call -I have been attacked twice over the phone - Waited an hour for an appointment once -Waited months for portal access (and still don’t have it) Fix your practice because this is very disappointing and I might escalate my concerns through other means and you will definitely regret it. If you are reading this please don’t waste your time and choose another doctor.

Dr Coates is great but his staff is the rudest group ever.

Comments are just unnecessary when, his staff is rude very unprofessional, he looks at you and gives you a diagnosis. Gave me a medicine I strongly didn’t want but called one in that was in the same family. He sees way to many patients to give proper care.

Dr. Coates has been my primary doctor for 10 years. When i needed to see a doctor I can rely on Dr Coates. I give my primary medical doctor a thumbs up.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Coates for years, He really cares about his patients and has taken care of our entire family. I have read some of these reviews and I can tell you for a fact that they must be confused with another doctor. I wouldn't change my doctor for anyone else. My wife would not be alive today without having Dr. Coates. I can attest he really knows you. When I was at a local restaurant, he saw me and immediately addressed me by name and asked how I was doing and I hadn't seen him in 6 months. Name another Doctor that can do this? I can't.

I think they should be more thorough before prescribing medications especially in regards to mental illness. I think they should refer to a psychiatrist and not try play with dosage and medications. They do not know brain chemistry as in depth as someone who specializes in it. He was rude and did not accept any accountability for his lack of care. Please report any doctor that you think has not taken proper care of you or neglected important details. We deserve better health care!

Dr. Coates has been my Primary Physician for over 7 years. He's been thru alot with me yet he still hangs in there and is very professional, well tuned into when I get poison ivy, panic attacks, hormone issues, colds, flu oh and poison oak too! He is very knowledgeable and yet compassionate with flair! Kelly L. Hicks

I think he's a really good doctor really needed someone that would understand my needs and my medication and that they are working and to make sure that I'm taking the right things since it help me find out what's really going on with me the nurses were very nice I can't remember her name she was tall and have blonde hair very nice ask me a bunch of questions very easy to talk to. I will probably see him within the next 3 weeks again. He's very friendly and very easy to talk to However he is a very busy and popular Dr. I will be back to see him and I like the fact that he treats everything at the center here you go see him he's cool
