Dr. Louis Joseph Conte, DO

For years I struggle with my sinsuses. Every Sept., almost every year I battle with this. There is no home remedies for relief and no PCP can cure me. One visit to Dr. Conte and in less than a week I am back on track. See you next week Doc. Calling Monday for an appt to see you.

I was FINALLY able to make an appointment for my husband after calling and calling and calling. Then Dr. Conte's office called and left a message about my husband's appointment and it took 2 days to get someone on the phone within a reasonable amount of time (I don't have time sit on the phone cycling through the automated system repeatedly until someone actually picks up). As I write this, I've been on hold for nearly 15 minutes (no exaggeration). I'm canceling the appointment and won't be rescheduling. If this is how the front desk operates, I can't imagine what would happen if my husband was being treated at this office and we really needed to get them on the phone. We'll be going elsewhere.

Had an appointment at 11am. We were the only patient in the office due to snow. Another patient walked in and was seen by the doctor immediately. The office put us in a back room and we waited for 50 minutes with no one coming to see us. My husband went to the nasty receptionist that said we have to wait. Then I went to see her and explained I had an appointment in New York - when is the doctor going to see us? Her snippy remark was “the doctor with another patient, you will have to wait”. I asked did she overbook her appointments? Her answer was “no”. I replied I’m going to be late for my NY appointment and she said “I’m not here to solve the world’s problems”. Oh really? Typical unprofessional doctor’s office in Bayonne. Maybe we were treated so poorly because we didn’t have insurance. Who knows? The doctor may be great but the staff is horrible. Look for another doctor in the area.

Dr. Conte is the best in his field in my opinion, he is friendly, nice, gentle and he listens to the patient and that's just what you need in a doctor he is just great with the patient, I just can't say enough about how good he is...Thanks for helping my father when he needed stitches, you can't even tell where you stitched him, good job Dr. C.....

I think he is fantastic. A nice friendly doctor that explains everything and makes sure you understand diagnosis. A real professional and a gentleman. I have recommended him to several people and thats why I'm on website now to send his info to a neighbor.

Dr. Conte was so nice, he was gentle ( I had ear pain in both ears) his voice was trusting also and it made me feel more calm (and that's not easy with me because I had my fair share with Dr.'s that you can't trust) he is so good I would send my own daughter to him....

One of the best Doctors that I have ever went to. He took the time to explain in detail everything that I need to know.

Dr Conte is a great doctor with an excellent professional manner. He is thorough and spends an adequate amount of time. He has always provided an accurate diagnosis and he is very intelligent, but approachable. His staff is excellent as well. A++

He takes the time to talk to you. He is awesome. He operated on my son Justin - and it was a wonderful experience. His office in Bayonne, and in Union are both great. Office staff very nice. He is a great dr. I was afraid since my son had to have surgery, he put me at ease and treated my son like his own. he is the best.
