Dr. Louis Hammerman, MD

Dr. Hammerman has been by doctor for 40 years or so. I have never met another doctor who is so sympathetic, competent, and respectful of his patients than him.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Hammerman since we moved to the area over 15 years ago. We have never had a problem getting an appointment in a reasonable time. He is very knowledgeable in many areas of medicine. He is also very good at recommending a specialist in various areas, when appropriate. I like the way he treats the patient overall, even when focusing on a specific reason why one seeks a doctor in the first place. The annual physical gives a platform for discussing our overall health situations. He recommends age-appropriate procedures, shots or immunizations. He always calls with results of any tests (blood, MRI, anything) and proposes appropriate action. His follow-up is excellent. We both love his bedside matter. We are glad he is our doctor.

Dr. Hammerman is no longer a treating physician, says he see nothing, you ask for test and says he sees nothing. Went to another Dr. And was asked why didn't you go to the Dr. Sooner? Said I went three times and was not treated. he needs psychiatric help and to be shut down, he writes down stuff, sees nothing and takes your money.

Absolutely terrible in response to medical emergency. Referred to this Dr. by Changebridge Medical group and he would not allow an on-going prescription. This potentially created a medical emergency for me.
