Dr. Louis Desire Hebert, MD

Patient was in hospital after mistake made by another dr during a routine surgery; dr Hebert was called in to correct that problem. I tried to talk to him about a serious possible heath concern I knew about pt and he grew impatient and acted as if I insulted him personally. I also asked him to wait till a family member could get there. He threatened not to do procedure as “he had other things to do” and could not wait. (This is procedure he also told me she would die without!). Finally said “be there in 15 minutes” which I did; procedure done two hrs later. He came in EXTREMELY rude and abrupt, quick rundown of procedure (which oddly was done in her room, ALONE - no nurses, aides and we were not allowed and no sterile space). “Ran” out of room after saying “X-ray will be done to check it and left. NEVER had a dr act this way, all before patiently answered all concerns, but Hebert has God-complex and can’t allay pt concerns about over 80 family member already in distress due to a… serious mistake by other dr - he should’ve been twice as reassuring under those circumstances. NEVER AGAIN will I allow him to treat her or anyone I love.
