Worst doctor ever

2.5 hrs late appt at 6:00am still here at 11:00am and waiting for a 45min out Patient surgery supposed to have been 45 minutes

I have been trying to get a colonoscopy scheduled for over 1 year. He did my colonoscopy in 2016. I need for my procedure done on a Monday and he does not do them on Mondays. I asked if someone in his office could do it on a Monday but he won't let anyone else ( even if they are from his own office) do the colonoscopy. Because of his decision I have not had it done. I am a year behind on my test. I have had surgery and am having trouble again. This has gotten out of hand. I am being held against my will because he won't allow someone else in his office do my procedure. I am tired of waiting.

I am multihandicapped. Dr. Lambiase has blown me off three times this week after reporting dark blood being thrown up. Tells me to go to the emergency room even after seeing my regular doctor and it being recommended to be scoped. Feels like Dr. Lambiase does NOT CARE that I am in pain and distress. Finding another doctor!

I have had GI problems my whole life. Dr. Lambiase has been the best GI doctor I have seen in the Chattanooga area and I've seen four others in the past. He has good bedside manner has a good sense of humor and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone with GI problems. His staff on the other hand needs a little bit of fine-tuning. They are not always on top of things.

Very nice man but the office staff leaves alot to be desired. Once you have an appointment and are dealing with his nurse you might have to call a couple of times to get an answer back.

Dr. Lambiase is a decent doctor but dealing with that office is a nightmare! "That office is a mess" is not only my opinion but also that of other doctors in the Erlanger system. It has been this way for at least 3 years now. Nurses that NEVER return phone calls. No follow up for any pending matters. Nobody knows what's going on or seems to care. I'm not saying the whole staff sucks but they need to replace a few key people & get some decent employees in there.

Neither this doctor nor any of the staff he worked with at Erlanger cared enough to answer my questions. When they did answer me, it was never a straight answer...all were fabrications (lies) used just to placate me. Never, never, never a true answer. This man's idea to soothe my fear of having a procedure done was a smart aleck, "We sedate you because I'm not limber enough to hold you down." I cannot make this stuff up. I was frightened enough by what I had seen and heard in the past from others who have had the same procedure that I was quite upset. I was crying, screaming and hysterical from fear. What I got from this doctor was that he would not work with me until I had a complete psychiatric evaluation! What?? The staff at Erlanger did not help in the least. While an extremely cheat small dosage of an anti-anxiety drug (the night before or the morning of) could have taken total care of the situation...plus a few straight answers to my questions would have calmed the… entire situation. But, guess what? He "doesn't believe in antianxiety medicine". Really??? A caring doctor---NO!
