Summary
Dr. Louis Marion received his his B.A. with honors in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania concentrating in Ancient Near East Archeology.  He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).  In his third year, he was awarded a National Institute of Health grant to study dental anthropology.  With his research and thesis on ancient and modern dental wear, Penn awarded Dr. Marion a Masters in Science in Dental Anthropology in addition to his D.M.D. Â
Dr. Marion furthered his dental studies and research by attending the University of North Carolina where he received both his Masters in Oral Biology and his Certificate in Prosthodontics. Â
Dr. Marion currently works and resides in Philadelphia. He practices Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, he teaches at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Periodontics and at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he is an associate …clinical professor and lecturer.Â
